World of Mina

About the Designer

Since childhood, Erika has been fascinated by the glow of metals and stones. At just six years old, her father took her to the mines of Guanajuato — a moment that sparked her lifelong curiosity for jewelry. At home, the jewels her father gifted her mother filled her with wonder and tenderness, emotions that would later turn into vocation.

She began drawing and painting at the age of three, and in high school she discovered sculpture as her own language. Erika studied Graphic Design at the Universidad de Monterrey, and after a brief period in advertising, she found her true form of expression in jewelry — a space where art, emotion, and matter merge into one story.

In Florence, she learned the ancient technique of wax modeling and fell in love with the possibility of creating wearable sculptures with her own hands. Later, she moved to New York to work with a master jeweler and develop her first collection, Secret Garden.

Today, Mina Ro Mina’s workshop and production center are based in Guanajuato, while Erika lives and creates new collections in Mexico City — a place that never ceases to inspire her with its cultural richness. Each piece echoes her earliest fascinations and her ongoing search for authenticity.

Brand Statement

Mina Ro Mina is wearable sculpture born between Mexico and New York.

Each piece emerges from a dialogue between emotion and place —

an inner journey and an outer destination meeting in organic forms and artisanal gestures.

Its soul celebrates imperfection, humanity, and the strength of daring to shine from your own truth.

We believe each jewel is a personal story and an act of courage wearable sculptures that inspire you to own your edge.

Our Philosophy

The Beauty of What’s Real

We believe in imperfection, in what’s alive, in what keeps transforming.

Each piece is born from a free gesture and an instinctive trace that reveals who we are when we create without fear.

We don’t chase perfection, we honor truth in motion.

The Origin

From the Mine to the Soul

Mina Ro Mina was born between the mines of Guanajuato and the creative pulse of New York City.

Between deep roots and open horizons, it celebrates the union of the inner and the outer, the ancestral and the contemporary.

Each collection is a journey, toward a place, a feeling, a truer version of ourselves.

The Process

Handmade, with Soul

Each piece is sculpted in wax, one by one, with no industrial molds.

In our Guanajuato workshop, time moves differently: ideas turn into form, emotions into sculpture.

Nothing here is identical, because authenticity can’t be replicated.

Wear Your Story. Own Your Edge.

Each piece holds a story.

Find yours.
